Results from the 2010 census continue to be released, revealing the current demographic makeup of America. For marketers, multicultural marketing has become a hot topic. Consumer brands and agencies alike are clamoring to categorize new demographics in order to take advantage of new business opportunities.

In Q1 2010, spending on Spanish-language TV rose by 7.2% and has continued to rise steadily. Multicultural marketing is nothing new, but with trends developing and new data available we’ve taken a look at how brands are responding.
