Marketers consider NFC
Hype around technology for near field communication (NFC) has been growing, with NFC-enabled mobile phones introduced by BlackBerry and Nokia, and consumers in the US using NFC to make purchases in select locations. While there's a long way to go before it's considered mainstream in the UK, attention is starting to be paid to the potential application of NFC as a marketing tool.
