IT and Green Business

Being environmentally friendly and conducting "green business" is often a difficult tightrope to walk, particularly when trying to keep costs down. For IT directors, there was once a time when proving that a project had the potential to reduce CO2 was enough to get sign-off from the Board – now, however, green IT projects have to come hand-in-hand with tangible financial benefits. We decided to speak to some of the constituents of the list to hear about the role IT plays in their operations, in particular to understand the role it plays in their drive for sustainable business.
