Broadcasters increase tech budgets

 

Over the last few years broadcast media has witnessed an unprecedented rise in audiences accessing content via multiple platforms, which is challenging these companies to be more innovative and invest in technology. Analysts are predicting a boom in tech spending this year, which is expected to continue sequentially over the next five years. We spoke to IT decision-makers to gauge how accurate this prediction is and to find out whether or not this trend signals a return to the "golden age" of broadcasting.
